Travel Journal and Summary of 2019
2019 you've been amazing, but it's time to start a new year, a new decade, a new chapter in my life. That's crazy; we're about to enter a new decade. Let's hope it will be even better than the one that is about to end. 2019 was good to me. I love doing two things in my life - photographing people in love and traveling. I've traveled all my life, thanks to my mom. She has always supported me in all ways, and she is the one who taught me how to be an avid traveler. This year has been ultra-saturated with couples in love and travels. I want to summarize my travels in this blog post and thank all the people involved.
In January of 2019, my mom, Tereza, and I went for the first time in our lives to California. What a trip! We visited Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego in 2 weeks. Also, we did it driving down the West Coast. I want to thank Janet and Gary, one of my first clients ever and now my friends, for spending time with me in San Francisco.

Love you!
Special thanks go to Tereza for insisting on going to those beautiful street lights in LA, where I took one of my fav images of you. Love you!
Also, Kara - my dear friend and a very talented photographer in LA - thank you very much for taking such lovely photos of us!

Then in June, my mom wanted to celebrate her birthday in a country we've never been to. Our choice fell on Norway. Man, what a scenery, nature, people, and the overall vibe! At first, it feels a bit cold and grey (possibly due to rain in Oslo) both on the exterior and on a more personal level. Still, once you adapt to nuances, and get deeper into the country, negative first impressions fade away. We fell in love with you, Norway. We will come to visit you again.
In August, Tereza and I flew to Portugal - a dream of ours for a long time. So many friends have told us great things about this country, and finally, we've saved enough money to take a two-week-long Eurotrip. We decided to spend the first week in Portugal, and then go to Northern Italy for the rest of our vacation. I can talk for hours about this trip, but let's face it - it's better to see once than hear a thousand times. Here are my pictures:
I want to thank my family for inviting us to their celebration in Modena, Italy. It was a long-awaited meet up with all of you! Sending love and hugs to you from New York.
Less than a month after returning from Eurotrip, I flew to California again to photograph one very adventurous couple. They spent 14 days traveling the West Coast in a rented black Mustang. In one of those days, I captured them having fun in Malibu Beach. Since I had an extra day in Cali and a rented car, I drew to Joshua Tree National Park, where I spent a few hours wandering through the desert and taking self-portraits.
Almost forgot, in October Tereza and I decided to celebrate our birthdays in Seattle, WA. We spent three wonderful days exploring the city and its surroundings.
WHAT A YEAR. Looking forward to even more adventurous 2020. Bring it on!
