Eloping in New York | Yasmin + Sam

Eloping in New York is always a good idea. It can be quiet and intimate or bold and loud. It can be peaceful or wild. It can be a mix of everything. The choice is yours.

As an elopement photographer in New York, I strive to give the most unique and amazing experience to every couple. I understand that this day happens only once in your life. I value your thoughts, your dreams, your vision for the day...

That's why I create a personalized itinerary for every client, which reflects their wishes for their elopement photoshoot.

Yasmin & Sam contacted me about their intimate wedding a few months before their trip to NYC. Firstly, we discussed all the possible locations and all the pros and cons of each route. Then Yasmin & Sam decided to go with Dumbo, Brooklyn Bridge, and City Hall coverage. Have I told you that Dumbo and Brooklyn Bridge are my favorite places in New York?

Dumbo is a beautiful area in Brooklyn that can quickly become overcrowded and too intense if you choose the wrong time for your visit.

The secret is simple. Come there as early as possible. Preferably during a weekday. However, early in the morning on Sundays will do the trick as well!!

Then I asked Yasmin if she was considering having a bouquet for her elopement session, and she said YES! I was so happy to help her with the choice of her florist for the day. Cara at Three Notch Florals did an outstanding job with the bouquet and a boutonniere for Sam. Absolutely beautiful and very thoughtful floral work! Here is Cara's website: www.threenotchflorals.com

I am so thankful for my clients who are willing to wake up before sunrise to experience first sun rays on the Brooklyn Bridge. Yasmin and Sam were not only ready to do that, but also they were excited and happy about their morning session. I couldn't ask for better clients! :)

After our time on the bridge and in Dumbo, we went to the City Hall for their intimate ceremony. Their friend and witness waited for them there, and the whole process took us maybe an hour. There are no long lines in the middle of the week. I believe it was Thursday. And we were there at 8:45 am. By 10 am, Yasmin & Sam were a married couple, and I was so incredibly happy for them!

Big thanks to Yasmin & Sam for your elegance, kindness, and friendliness. It was a pleasure to meet you two!
