The Celebration For Everyone: Julia & Brenner’s Fall Wedding at Pendry Natirar

I remember pulling in my rental car to Ninety Acres (a restaurant at Pendry Natirar), and catching a thought that it’s going to be a wedding weekend to remember. The weather forecast promised mild warm temperature, sunny weekend, and from my two Zoom calls with Julia and Brenner, I knew it would be all about the atmosphere for their guests and happy time for their families and friends. Julia and Brenner’s wedding weekend at Pendry Natirar in Peapack, New Jersey, was a masterclass in this.

While the setting felt like a getaway to the rolling hills of the English countryside (despite being in the middle of New Jersey), the real energy wasn’t in the landscape or floral decor (which was stunning, by the way). No, this day was about human connection, strong family ties, and the newlyweds’ commitment to each other and their future together.

Why Your “Ugly Cry” is Your Best Wedding Accessory

Alex, my second photographer, and I rarely gave directions for posing. Instead, we spent the day chasing the fleeting moments happening in front of us. One of the most striking moments was Julia’s walk down the aisle. Forget the Stoic, slow-motion walk you are so used to see on Instagram. Julia met Brenner with a raw, chaotic mix of laughter and tears that was completely unplanned and 100% Julia.

The Lesson for Future Newlyweds: Don’t get lost in the tiny details. The color of the napkins won’t be what you remember in five years. You’ll remember the way your voice cracked during your vows or the way you lost your mind on the dance floor with your best friends. If it feels true for your relationship, let it happen.

Making the Guest Experience the Main Event

Julia and Brenner prioritized a “run of show” that favored the party. From the Friday night rehearsal dinner at Ninety Acres to an endless night of dancing including the after-party, the focus was on the people in the room.

When you’re planning your own celebration, think about the “flow” over the “fluff.” A venue like Pendry Natirar shines in the fall, but it’s the energy of a packed dance floor and the ease of a well-timed transition that makes a wedding feel legendary. The venue team of Pendry Natirar made our experience there flawless. They were kind, professional, and very helpful. Every aspect of the celebration was managed super well, and at the same time their team was in the background, like ninjas. I would definitely recommend this venue to all couples.

The Dream Team

A huge shoutout to the vendors who helped pull off this intentional vibe without making it feel like a production:

The setting was nothing short of magical – Christmas Eve with snowy morning and brisk air. It was the perfect backdrop for an intimate ceremony that felt straight out of a movie.

Film just hits different. It’s a little gritty, a little unpredictable, and adds perfectly imperfect vibes to your timeless photo gallery made by your wedding photographer (kudos if you chose Aesthetic Sabotage for this task).
